A personal message from Dr. Christen Macintyre:
I am absolutely thrilled to be welcomed into Coakley Family Dental!
When I first decided to become a dentist, it was because I wanted to help people: help them to be healthy, help them out of pain, help them smile. Now I realize that while dentistry is all of those things, it is so much more. Overcoming disease and discomfort, building confidence by restoring a healthy smile – it is not only an occupation. It is a privilege. I am so fortunate and grateful to be surrounded by a team that believes this as fundamentally as I do. To the team: I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together for our patients and their families. To our patients: I look forward to meeting you and making you smile!
Dr. Christen MacIntyre grew up in the coastal town of Scituate, MA. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2009, earning Bachelor’s Degrees in both History and Classics. In 2016 she graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and soon after began her dental career with a group practice in the Springfield area.
Dr. Christen believes that every patient ought to be treated like family. Whether you’re anxious about seeing the dentist or just want to understand more about your treatment, Dr. Christen is glad to walk you through every step of the way. Her goal, every day, is to help her patients feel educated, comfortable, and happy with their dental care – and to have them leave with a smile!
Dr. Christen enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, her children Liam and Sophia, family and friends. She also enjoys travel, especially to the beach, music, and cooking – she is always happy to see a new place or try a new recipe!
Dr. MacIntyre is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
