A personal message from Dr. Bill Coakley, Jr…
“I could never have imagined back in 1975, when I started my dental practice, that 41 years later I would still enjoy doing dentistry as much as I do. I have always tried to remember what a dental instructor told me as a student, ‘Always remember that you are treating a patient as well as a tooth.’ Keeping this mantra in mind, I have always strived to help my patients to good oral health in a kind and compassionate way. I have always wanted my patients to leave the office with a smile on their face (even if the local anesthesia makes that difficult!).
There are so many people I have been fortunate enough to treat and they have all touched my life in some way or other. Our families have grown up together and I am now treating third generation patients! My patients have become my friends and the support I have received throughout the years has been unbelievable. I give thanks to all who have given me the privilege of treating their dental needs over all of these years.
“My success would not be possible without my wife Gail, my son BJ, my staff, and of course, our loyal patients. Having come a long way from the early days of Gail and myself wearing many hats, it is a treasure to be able to work with my son every day and share ideas as colleagues. I could have never imagined coming this far and am so proud of present day Coakley Family Dental.”
